MrTadeja.com
MrTadeja.com is the online classroom of VAHS 208, a virtual site where students and parents get together to get information about Mr. Tadeja’s classroom. This site is also a place where teachers and members of the teaching community gather to share ideas, exchange resource, and engage in professional discourse about the happenings in our respective classrooms and the experiences in our teaching subjects. Although the primary target of this site may appear to be English related, this site welcomes the teaching communal in subjects outside of the English fields. VAHS 208 is the location and physical room number of Mr. Tadeja’s classroom at Village Academy High School, servicing the students of Pomona and portions of north Diamond Bar, CA.

This website is a never-ending work in progress. MrTadeja.com first opened in September 2000 to work in conjunction with the first graduating class of DRHS. The site has gone through three major renovations and the current site you are viewing is the sixth version. Future versions of this website will continue to include the use of ShockWave and other Flash-featured technology. Currently, more than 300 pages make up MrTadeja.com. The eighth installment of the site is scheduled to debut sometime after Fall 2005.

This site is best viewed on a 17” color monitor using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher with a 1024x768 pixel setting. The primary font used for the titles are Haettenschweiler and Tahoma while the body uses Verdana 11 point. The Grade Server is a courtesy of Jay Klein Productions and uses a direct upload connection from Mr. Tadeja’s Dell laptop each time grades are entered into the system. The grading matrix features the most recent version of GradeBusters. The Chatroom and the numerous Message Boards use remote Homestead and EZBoard websites as well as YaBB technology while other portions of the site contain graphics and text from Mr. Tadeja’s SchoolNotes.com and Teach the Teachers Collaborative webpages. Free extensions and webtools from the site’s database are delivered using the help of Bravenet. The site was built using the latest version of NetObjects Fusion. However, mirror copies of the site are duplicated using DreamWeaver MX 2004 and FrontPage 2003. Some pages on the MrTadeja.com network are protected and are not searchable.

There are still some revisions that need to be made to the site, most notably is the overall frame correction. Your suggestions and comments are appreciated. This site is owned by Mr. Tadeja himself and maintained by the members of VAHS 208.

Revisions to this site are made possible by the dedicated students who take a vested interest in my website. Other kudos go out to Sabrina Krysnik, whose picture is featured on this page. Sabrina works for Hewlett Packard’s E-Services Garage Program and was a former student of Mr. Tadeja. Again, thanks for visiting the site. We hope to either see you in class or again on the net. Otherwise, happy surfing and welcome to the site!
